Boarding

Our boarding facility consists of eleven themed rooms. The construction is still in the planning stage. Our designs will use a combination of cat friendly materials and artwork. These designs are also available to install in your own home to create that magical cat playroom. Combine the inside with a matching outdoor catio and you will have a true cat paradise that you and your feline friend can enjoy together.

African Savannah – Designed for the very active, dominant personality who enjoys high perches and tons of cat grass. Reminiscent of an African grass savannah, this room is inspired by my own beautiful golden princess June who absolutely LOVES her cat grass.

Circus Circus  – Designed like a circus ring, this room is filled with lots of color and shape, there are plenty of places to race around and holes to hide in. Designed for the hyperactive, playful soul.

Other Worlds – Mysterious and contemplative describes the vibration of this other worldly celebration. Remember the movie “Avatar”? This room is for the wise, reflective cat of mystery.

Asian Jungle  – Wild and secretive describes this room. Vine covered tree to climb and hunt in dominate this design. In every cat is a little wild jungle beast … some more then others. Dedicated to my own Asian Jungle/Bengal boys Michael, Gabriel, and Picasso.

North American Forest – This room is reminiscent of the great North American forests with huge tree to climb and large branches to lounge on. Optional small fish pond for hours of entertaining cat TV.

Southwest Desert – Honoring the primal ancestry of cats back to their desert roots is the essence of this landscape. Originally desert animals, cats will feel comfortable in this cactus and rock desert scene.

English Royalty – Pussycat, pussycat where have you been? I’ve been to London to visit the Queen. Pussycat, pussycat what did you there? I chased a little mouse under her chair. The throne room for the discriminating royal cat.

City Cat –  This facade of a city apartment building can give that bored country soul a trip to the big city life without the dangers of traffic and noise.

Kountry Kitty –  For the cat who dreams of outdoor living, this miniature barnyard will provide the city cat with a country cat experience. See the pics at the right for a scaled down version of the barn/cat tree that was donated to Humane Society of the North Bay 2010 Barkitecture event.

Temple Of Bast  – Cats have been the honored quests and worshiped by pharoahs and queens. This room recreates the Temple of Bast – Goddess and protector of all cats.

Beach Baby  – Yes indeed life IS a great big sandbox. Gentle rolling dunes with sprigs of dune grass overlooking the ocean provide a special place to lounge and relax on a perpetual sunny day.
